1. High Performance is best used twice daily especially in the evening as this is when the body rejuvenates the skin.A thin layer all over the face and neck area after cleansing at night will provide the best results.

2.Cleansing and exfoliating prior to applying a moisturizer will help prep the skin and allow the moisturizer to absorb much more effectively.Cleansing should be done twice daily while exfoliation is usually done 2-3 times a week based on skin condition.

3. Always choose a moisturizer that is suitable for your skin type.Dryer skins may need a richer more emollient cream to provide deep long lasting hydration. Skins that tend to be oilier or combination may prefer a light weight lotion with more of a matte finish.

4. When using a moisturizer on oiler skin remember to only hydrate the dryer areas of the face.Avoid the combination or T-Zone areas as these tend to need less or no additional moisture.Adding moisturizers in the oiler areas on the face could lead to additional breakout!

5. Using an Astringent or Toner prior to moisturizing will remove any remaining dirt or oil from the face allowing the moisturizer to penetrate much more effectively.This allows quick absorption leaving the skin feeling moist and comfortable not shinny or greasy.

Does the High Performance Moisturizer provide any anti-aging benefits?

 In addition to the strong, hydrating benefits of the Aqua Cacteen, the High Performance Moisturizer also acts as an eye-defier. With the addition of Multi-Fruit Acids to help reduct the apeparance of facial lines and discoloration, it also softens rough, sun damaged skin. Two major peptides, along with Carrot Root, are also added to help improve elasticity and firmness. Vitamin C & E provide protection and repair from environmental factors.

Aqua Cacteen (Opuntia Streptacantha) stem extract

This pure extract from the Prickly Pear provides a deep and long-lasting hydration to the skin. It is extremely rich in essential amino acids, flavones, anti-oxidants, vitamins, B1, B2, B3, C, minerals and water binding polysaccharides.

Bilberry Extract (AHA Fruit Acid)

Natural AHA that helps retexturize, erase fine lines, discolorations and blotches.

Carrot Root

Rich in vitamins and minerals, this oil has many antiseptic properties. Smoothes and tones skin. Used for skin conditions such as dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis and rashes.

Glycerin

Natural humectant, holds and retains moisture on the skin, helps bind moisture to the skin. Great for chapped skin. A clear liquid that is the model of a great humectant: Glycerin is able to pull water form the air and hold it on the skin. It helps keep moisture in creams and other products, even if the consumer leaves the cap off the container! Also helps the products to spread evenly.

Lemon Extract (AHA Fruit Extract)

Essential Oil. Natural AHA that helps retexturize, erase fine lines, discolorations and blotches. Helps inhibit bacteria for ultra-clean skin and helps restore natural pH level to skin. Helps brighten pale and dull complexions by removing dead skin cells. It smoothes out broken capillaries and has an effective cleansing action on greasy skin and hair.

Multi Fruit Acids (AHA)

Includes Ascorbic, Glycolic, Lactic, Malic, Tartatic and other structurally similar fruit acids. Derived from plants (fruit acids) and marine sources. Works on upper (epidermis) skin layers. Increases skin collagen levels and skin thickness.

Shea Butter (Butyrospermum parkii)

Used in Africa as a balm to soothe, makes skin more supple. It contains a substance that makes the skin supple, eases wrinkles and texturizes.

Soybean Extract

Soy extract is a potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agent for skin. Soy is one of many phyto-chemicals that are biologically active against free radicals. It has a collagen-stimulating effect and that various compounds in soy influence skin thickness and elasticity.
