Is there a difference between this and the Astringent toner pads?

Both astringents address the same need. There are some different ingredients in the pads, such as Azeloglycina and slightly less alcohol, but it really comes down to whether you prefer a pad or a liquid.

Will using an astringent dry out my skin?

No. Anthony Astringent for men is made with Witch Hazel and a mild alcohol to cut oils and hydrating Aloe Vera and Vitamin B5 for moisture retention. On the other hand, if your skin tends to be on the dry side, it might be best to use our Alcohol-Free Toner, which is designed for people with dryer skin.
