The Action:

To Shave and Moisturize. A combination of Eucalyptus and Peppermint Oils stimulate skin and lift beard hairs. Wheat Protein moisturizes and tightens.  Licorice evens skin tone.

The Method:

Apply a fine layer after a warm shower and/or cleansing face. Smooth all over the areas to be shaved. Shave, rinse razor often. Reapply a small amount, rub in for after shave - moisturizing and conditioning. Gives a close comfortable shave. Moisturizes and protects skin.

Tips & Recommendations

1. Packed with natural peppermint & eucalyptus oils which stimulate skin and llift the beard hairs. This product is highly recommended for thicker or more coarse beards. 

2. Licorice. It isn't just for the movies anymore! Watch as, over time, licorice root extract evens skin, tones and helps to work against those dark spots that can happen from ingrown hairs or razor bumps.

3.  Use a nickel sized amount, work together with fingers, then apply to cleansed, damp face. Apply enough to coat the beard and take care to use more wher eyou have more sensitivity with your shave.

4. Air is for breathing, not shaving! Avoid the dryness found with mass produced shaving products, which are packing with air (foam) and alcohol. The use of air packed shave products puts your razor blades against the skin, leading to razor bumps, burn and a less than stellar shave. 

5. Wheat Proteins. It's the supplement for the skin - hydrates the skin and firms things up. Better than ab crunches.

Can I use a face scrub before I shave?

Absolutely! The Face Scrub, used twice a week, helps to lift grime from the face and beard for a better shave. The Anthony Face Scrub is designed to do the job without over exfoliating.

When is the best time to shave?

The jury is out; shaving in the shower is the best place for a more comfortable shave. The steam from the shower starts the softening of the beard. Combine this with the right Anthony Shave Product and it will be smooth sailing.

Can I use more than recommended?

Less really is better! It's concentrated and designed to work with out a foam.

Aqua Cacteen (Opuntia Streptacantha) stem extract

This pure extract from the Prickly Pear provides a deep and long-lasting hydration to the skin. It is extremely rich in essential amino acids, flavones, anti-oxidants, vitamins, B1, B2, B3, C, minerals and water binding polysaccharides.

Coconut (Cocosnucifera) Acid

Compound found in coconut oil. It is used widely in soaps and shampoos, as it is a very effective cleanser. The small molecular structure of coconut acid allows for easy absorption through the skin, giving it a soft, smooth texture. It makes an ideal ointment for the relief of dry, rough and wrinkled skin.

Eucalyptus Extract

Essential Oil. Helps disinfect and heal. Cooling and refreshing. Good for muscular aches and pains. Used in skin fresheners.

Glycerin

Natural humectant, holds and retains moisture on the skin, helps bind moisture to the skin. Great for chapped skin. A clear liquid that is the model of a great humectant: Glycerin is able to pull water form the air and hold it on the skin. It helps keep moisture in creams and other products, even if the consumer leaves the cap off the container! Also helps the products to spread evenly.

Goldenseal

Natural Ingredient. Helps soothe and heal. Anti-itching agent. Wide range of healing applications for skin. Indian tribes used to use this as a general tonic. Also used for skin disorders and has antiseptic properties.

Grape (Vitis Vinifera) seed extract

Contains proanthocyanidins, which are very potent antioxidants, helpful for diminishing the sun's damaging effects and lessening free-radical damage. It has also been shown to have wound-healing properties.

Lemon (Limonum) Peel Oil

From the fruit of the citrus lemon. Known for its astringent and anti-irritant qualities.

Licorice (Glycyrrhyza Glabra) Extract

Helps even skin tone and eliminate age spots.

Mandarin (Citrus Nobilis)

Orange (citrus aurantium dulcis) oil

Essential Oil. Refreshes, energizes, relaxes, soothes and stimulates. Inhibits bacterial for clearer skin. Clears your head. Cooling and antiseptic in bath and facial herbal preparations. It can help relieve itching, inflammation and sunburn. Also softens skin, helps to remove blackheads and is effective on greasy skin and hair.

Triticum Vulgare (Wheat) Protein

Functions as a natural moisturizing factor which mimic the structure and function of healthy skin and helps to nourish, tighten and strength as well as act as a protecting agent against environmental effects. It also has an emulsifying effect on hair.
